Literacy is an issue in many communies both here in Australia and in other countries. Many of the books I am donating will go to libraries and enable people to read a book written in Australia about the very country that the community is living in. These donated books will free up funding for libraries to enable more purchases of book to aid the literacy of many communities. 250 libraries, both big and small will receive a hard cover Limited Edition copy of "Outback Exodus" as soon as the print run is completed.
Australia has one of the driest climates in the world and as a consequence bushfires destroy homes, businesses and infrastructure on a regualr basis. Many towns lose facilities like libraries during bushfires. Schools also lose these facilities too. With the loss of books in both public libraries and school libraries during recent times Dawn Millen is donating 250 books to libraries in effected areas.

Flooding is also an issue for many communities and each year floods destroy homes, businesses, farms and infrastructure in many areas of New South Wales. I will be donating books to the libraries in many towns where I know from personal experience that flooding effects those towns.
